Vizag collector inspects development projects under Prasadam scheme
Visakhapatnam:Vizag Collector M.N. Harendhira Prasad conducted a site inspection on Saturday to evaluate the progress of several ongoing development projects under the Prasadam scheme at Simhachalam. These initiatives include the construction of a shopping complex, queue complex, tourist information center, and parks, with a total investment of Rs 54 crore.
During the visit, the Collector emphasized the importance of timely completion of these projects to ensure that facilities are available for devotees. He specifically assessed the ongoing work on the Kalyana Mandapam atop the hill and the modernization of the bus stand adjacent to the queue complex.
Prasad urged officials to expedite the work on the tourist information center and shopping complex, with the goal of meeting the established deadlines. Following the inspection, he convened a meeting with project officials to address any concerns and reinforce the urgency of completing the developments on schedule.
The Temple Executive Officer, Trinatha Rao, provided a detailed briefing on the current and upcoming projects, using a map of Simhachalam Devasthanam to highlight the various areas of development.
