Vizianagaram: Paidithalli Ammavari Sirimanu Utsav to begin on October 15

Visakhapatnam: The Paidithalli Ammavari Sirimanu Utsav, a grand celebration honoring the goddess, will commence on October 15, 2024, in Vizianagaram. The festivities will kick off on September 20 with a series of events, culminating in the main ritual on October 30.

The temple executive officer, D.V.V. Prasada Rao, announced the details during a press conference on Tuesday. He emphasised the significance of the state-recognized festival and the extensive preparations being made by the district administration and Devadaya Department.

The Sirimanu festival, which follows Dussehra, is expected to attract a large number of devotees. The temple priest, Bantupalli Venkatarao, urged devotees to participate in the celebrations, including the traditional climbing of Sirima.
