WAVES 2025: PIB urges young journalists to explore creative challenges

Tirupati: The Press Information Bureau (PIB) urged young journalists to actively participate in WAVES 2025 online creative challenges.
Andhra Pradesh regional additional director general (ADG) of PIB, Rajinder Choudhary, addressed journalism students at Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) in Tirupati during a media workshop on Thursday.
He emphasised the growing role of AI tools in modern journalism, the importance of digital platforms, and the vast opportunities in the media and entertainment industries.
SPMVV dean Prof. Vani and political science HoD Prof. Seetha Kumari spoke on the evolving digital landscape, media education, and legal awareness. Journalism department’s Prof. Kiran Prasad and Tirupati district DIPRO Balakondayya emphasised the need for collaboration between media and academia to integrate emerging technologies into curricula.
