Worked Hard for SC Welfare, Says AP SC Panel Chief

VIJAYAWADA: AP State Commission for Scheduled Castes chairman Murumudi Victor Prasad said that he has worked hard for the welfare and protection of SCs during his three-year tenure. Expressing satisfaction over his work, he thanked officials from various departments, the media and the public for their support in helping him resolve the public issues.

Addressing media persons at the Commission office in the NTR administrative block, Victor Prasad said he took charge on August 24, 2021, and worked his level best to resolve the problems of SC people. He emphasised that he has effectively carried out the responsibilities entrusted to him.

He also noted that he has toured the state six times, from Srikakulam to Anantapur, to address the problems faced by the people. "Apart from receiving complaints directly from the public, I have also received complaints through phone calls and social media platforms such as WhatsApp and Facebook, and I have worked to resolve these public issues," Victor Prasad said. He further mentioned that he takes pride in being the only SC Commission Chairman who held more than 200 hearings in the state's history.
