Young Couple Dies by Suicide in Kadapa District
The bodies were shifted to RIMS hospital in Kadapa for post-mortem examination
KADAPA: A young couple has died allegedly by suicide in separate locations in Kadapa district on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Hema Sri and Yogendra Kumar Varma, natives of Chennur in Kamalapuram constituency. Police said the two, who had known each other since their school days, died within hours of each other on Monday morning.
Yogendra Varma allegedly died at a relative’s residence in Kadapa town, while Hema Sri died at her home in Chennur. Both were below 25 years of age.
Police said preliminary investigation suggests personal differences may have led to the incident, though the exact reasons are yet to be ascertained.
Separate cases have been registered at Chennur and Kadapa II Town police stations. The bodies were shifted to RIMS hospital in Kadapa for post-mortem examination.
