YSRC Leader criticises coalition government at former Chief Minister's birthday celebration

Vijayawada:Former MLA and YSRC Central Constituency coordinator Malladi Vishnu strongly criticised the current coalition government during the birthday celebrations of former Chief Minister Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy on Saturday.

At the event, he highlighted the achievements of the former Chief Minister, noting that Rs 2,83,866 crore had been distributed to poor and middle-class citizens through various welfare schemes. He particularly praised the establishment of village and ward secretariats, which generated 1.34 lakh jobs within six months of Jaganmohan Reddy assuming office.

"YS Jaganmohan Reddy is the only Chief Minister who not only understood people's problems through the Praja Sankalpa Yatra but also fulfilled 99 percent of his promises after coming to power," Vishnu stated. He commended reforms in education, healthcare, and agriculture under Jaganmohan Reddy's leadership.

The YSRC leader accused the current coalition government of obstructing the birthday celebrations, describing this as unprecedented, given that events for leaders like Chandrababu Naidu and the late N.T.R. were never hindered.
