Vijayawada:Pothula Sunitha has resigned from the YSRC as well as MLC. She has sent a letter to YSRC chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy conveying her decision.
According to sources, Sunitha was trying to join any of the NDA parties in Andhra Pradesh. The sources recalled that Sunitha had joined the YSRC leaving Telugu Desam, hence her chances of returning to the ruling party are more. They further said she also has an option of joining the BJP as the saffron party is in alliance with the ruling TD in AP.
The sources stated that Sunitha will clear air on her political future in a day or two after consultations with her supporters.
