Attacks on women have spiked in AP: YSRC
Vijayawada: YSR Congress MLA Tatiparthi Chandrasekhar on Thursday said Telugu Desam-led coalition government has replied to his question in AP Legislative Assembly saying 7,393 cases have been registered in the state during the past six months.
“This is an admission that law and order situation has deteriorated in AP and attacks on women have increased,” the opposition party MLA told media here.
He wondered why the state government is booking police cases against social media activists like Sudha Rani, who are questioning the failure of the state government in ensuring law and order in Andhra Pradesh.MLA Chandrasekhar described the budget presented by the NDA alliance government as a sham, saying meagre allocations have been made for just three of the Super Six schemes, while free bus, unemployment stipend and other schemes find no place in the budget.
