YSRCP damaged systems during its regime, alleges Naidu

Vijayawada: A day after his party witnessed a massive victory in the elections, TDP president Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday said all the government systems had collapsed in the last five years under the regime of YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh.

Addressing a press conference, he said the electricity charges were increased nine times under the YSRCP rule and added that all the natural resources were exploited in the last five years. Thanking the people in Andhra Pradesh for extending support to TDP during elections, he said the TDP government would strive for the development of future generations.

Naidu said no one was permanent in politics and only the country, democracy and parties were permanent. The people would support only the parties that work effectively befitting all sections of the people. Those working in the US worked for the TDP and others working as labourers in the neighboring State voted for the party, he said.

The election result must be rewritten with golden letters in the history of the TDP. In 1983, the TDP got 200 seats and now the party got unexpected results, he explained, adding that the YSRCP suffered drubbing because of its corrupt policies and repressive measures.
