Kakinada: Andhra Pradesh IT and education minister Nara Lokesh has responded to a plea from Chebrolu Basavayya of Attili Village in the Tanuku constituency, West Godavari District. Basavayya, who secured a 930 rank in IIT JAM 2024, got admission into the M.Sc Data Science programme at IIIT Lucknow, with a course fee of approximately Rs.4 lakh.
Facing financial difficulties, Basavayya had appealed for assistance on social media. Lokesh, on Sunday, assured him that he would cover the cost of his studies and support his pursuit of higher education.
