BRS makes false statement on murder case: Jupally

"How can KTR talk about my involvement in yesterday's murder case without knowing the full details. B. Sridar Reddy, who was murdered yesterday, has nothing to do with politics. He is close to a former MLA. There are property disputes within Sridar Reddy's family and Sridhar Reddy has financial issues," Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said

Hyderabad: Condemning the murder incident which took place at Laxmipally village of Wanaparthy on Thursday, Minister Jupally Krishna Rao on Friday found fault with the BRS working president K T Rama Rao for politicizing the death without getting facts behind the murder of BRS worker.

Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and TPCC leader Mallu Ravi spoke to mediapersons at Gandhi Bhavan on Friday.

"How can KTR talk about my involvement in yesterday's murder case without knowing the full details. B. Sridar Reddy, who was murdered yesterday, has nothing to do with politics. He is close to a former MLA. There are property disputes within Sridar Reddy's family and Sridhar Reddy has financial issues," Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said.

Stating that the government would conduct a fair probe into the murder case to find the facts, Excise Minister Jupally Krishan Rao said that the BRS party leaders targeted him after he quit the BRS party and started mudslinging.

The Minister further alleged that K.T. Rama Rao and former IPS officer RS Praveen Kumar must know facts before making any statements. The BRS working president has no right to question me and those who harassed Dalits have no right to talk about the death," Krishna Rao said.

The TPCC senior leader Mallu Ravi also condemned murder incident in Wanaparthy district and asked the BRS leaders to stop making false statements. The government would take action against those who indulged in offences, he said.
