BRS Outdated; BJP will Never Tie with Corrupt Party: Bandi

Karimnagar: The BRS is an outdated party and why would the BJP have an alliance with it, questioned Union minister of state for home affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar. Both the Congress and BRS are playing dramas to divert the attention of people, said Bandi Sanjay Kumar after offering prayers here at Markandeya temple in Rajanna Sircilla district on Sunday.

Why would people bother if BRS merges either in BJP or in Congress or go for alliance. They are frustrated to hear the names of BRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao and its working president K. T. Rama Rao and ready to beat them with stones, the BJP leader said.

The Congress is deceiving people to cover its mistakes. Not able to fulfil its promise of six guarantees and waive crop loans, it has brought the new issue of alliance and merger of the BRS.

Before going to elections, the Congress promised it will waive off Rs 40,000 crore of crop loans, then how it allotted only Rs 26,000 crore in the budget and waived only Rs 17,000 crore, he questioned.

By promising that it would sanction Rs 1 lakh and one tola gold under Kalyana Lakshmi scheme and recruit 30,000 youths, it recruited only 12,000 youths and by not implementing six guarantees, the Congress betrayed the people of Telangana.

Both the Congress and BRS are deceiving innocent farmers with false promises while the Centre is extending its cooperation by providing financial aid of Rs 20,000 per acre to farmers, he pointed out.

BJP is going to fight against the state government until all the farmers in the state receive crop loan waiver amounts, he warned.
