CM Stalin Launches Souvenir Showcasing Tamil Nadu’s Achievements

Chennai: Chief Minister M K Stalin released a souvenir titled ‘Thalaisirantha Moondandu! Thalainimirtha Tamilnadu’ (Three years of excellence that made Tamil Nadu look up), which was brought out by the Tamilarasu magazine published by the Department of Information and Public Relations on Wednesday.

The souvenir that highlights the achievements of the DMK government department wise in the past three years carries articles by former West Bengal Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi, MLA Ezhil Naganathan, State Planning Commission Vice-chairman J Jeyaranjan and journalist Dilip Mandal, among others.

The Chief Minister inaugurated buildings like hostels, schools and community hall constructed at a cost of Rs 80.70 crore by the Adi Dravida Housing and Development Corporation (TAHDCO) through video conference from the Secretariat and distributed cheques totally worth Rs 50 crore for renovation of 1,250 temples in the localities of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities.

He also handed over appointment orders for 180 recruits of the State Highway Department.
