Khammam: Minister for revenue Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Saturday reiterated that the Congress would fulfil all its pre-poll promises including Rs 2 lakh crop loan waiver.
Distributing cheques of Kalyana Lakshmi to the beneficiaries at Rajeshwarapuram in Nelakondapally mandal, he said the leaders of opposition parties were unable to digest the initiation of the process by the state government for waiver of Rs 2 lakh crop loan by August 15 and making irrelevant comments.
The crop loan waiver would begin from the last week of July and end before August 15, as promised by the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, he added.
Stating that no questions of going back from implementation of its promises by the Congress government, he said the poorest of the poor would be accorded priority in selection of beneficiaries for Indiramma houses in the first phase.
