HC refuses to issue stay order on bail granted to Satish

The public prosecutor argued that in case of the main accused was enlarged on the bail, it may affect the ongoing inquiry in the case

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has refused to issue a stay order on the bail granted to the main accused Vemula Satish Kumar in a case related to stone pelting on Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy by a city court recently.

A singe judge bench headed by Justice Venkata Jyothirmai Pratapa, who held a hearing here on Thursday, said it would not be possible to issue any order without hearing the accused and directed public prosecutor Y. Nagi Reddy to serve notice to the accused in the case.

The public prosecutor argued that in case of the main accused was enlarged on the bail, it may affect the ongoing inquiry in the case.
