Health Minister Satya Kumar Announces Verification of All Records

Anantapur: Health minister Satya Kumar Yadav says he has detected large-scale irregularities in the name of Arogyasri and other programmes in a review of matters of the YSRC government’s term.

The minister said Jagan Mohan Reddy had made Aarogyasri as Anarogyasri without providing proper services to the people and that he had helped in the “loot” of public money by private hospitals.

"We are firm on bringing reforms and ending all irregularities from top to bottom to ensure quality medical aid to every common man in the government hospitals," the health minister claimed.

Yadav, who arrived in Anantapur and Dharmavaram after assuming charge got a grand welcome from BJP, TD and JS activists on Tuesday while on his way from Anantapur to Dharmavaram.

Speaking to media, he observed there were many lapses in providing quality medical facilities to the common people during the last five years while private nursing homes took undue benefits on a large scale.

Praising the people of Dharmavaram for giving an opportunity for a non-local candidate to be their MLA, Yadav said he would bring reforms in the medical and health wings.

The minister said he would develop the Dharmavaram assembly segment and Dharmavaram town.
