JS leader brings farmers to buttress his charge against CS
VISAKHAPATNAM: Jana Sena corporator Peethala Murthy Yadav on Friday brought certain farmers to a media conference saying their lands had been purchased by benamis of Andhra Pradesh chief secretary (CS) K.S. Jawahar Reddy.
In the media conference that took place at the TD office in Visakhapatnam, farmers, stated to be from Visakhapatnam, claimed that the CS himself had inspected their lands that they had been cultivating for 40 years. They alleged that their lands had been confiscated and registered in the names of others.
Murthy Yadav reassured the farmers that the TD and Jana Sena will stand by them in the fight for their land. He said he will take up the matter of land grabbing allegedly by Jawahar Reddy with the Election Commission and the High Court if necessary.
The JS leader expressed confidence that justice will be done to farmers once the TD-JS-BJP alliance comes to power.
