Hyderabad: Three members of a family died in a road accident after the car in which they were travelling hit a left-side barrier on the suburbs of Bengaluru on Thursday.
The victims have been identified as Gopal, 60, his wife Shashikala, 55, and their daughter Deepa, 30, all residents of Malleswaram. Deepa’s two children - Bhuvan, 4, and Aadhya, 18 months - survived the crash near Dobbaspet, according to police.
The police said the family left Bengaluru on Thursday morning in their car for Tumakuru district to attend a naming ceremony and around 10.30 am they met with an accident near Lakkuru railway bridge on the Pune-Bengaluru national highway.
