BJP trying to eliminate me through conspiracies: Siddaramaiah
Ballari: During the election campaign in Yelubenchi village of Sandur Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah stated that the BJP is attempting to eliminate him using conspiracies and false cases.
"The BJP knows that as long as I am here, I will not allow them to come to power. That is why they are trying to eliminate me with conspiracies, using CBI, ED, and IT. They cannot stand the fact that I have implemented welfare programs for the poor. They have filed false cases against me. I come from a humble background, and I am not afraid of such tactics," Siddaramaiah declared, drawing applause from the people.
He took a direct swipe at the BJP and the Reddy team, saying that they had brought shame to Sandur and Bellary. "Think carefully before voting for the Reddy team or the BJP again, who have tarnished the name of our region. Their politics have no place here," he remarked.
Turning his attention to the ongoing Sandur by-election, Siddaramaiah stated that the survey results indicated strong public support for Annapoorna Tukaram.
"In our surveys, people showed overwhelming support for her, and that is why she was given the ticket. We are confident she will win and continue the development work in Sandur," he said.
