Bus Cleaners Murdered In Bengaluru
Bengaluru: Two persons, both bus cleaners, were allegedly murdered under Bagalur police station limits of Bengaluru city and their bodies were discovered on Saturday morning by the police. It is suspected that the deceased persons were hit with a hard weapon leading to fatal injuries.
The deceased have been identified as Nagesh and Manju Gowda. The deceased persons worked at the washing and cleaning unit of a private bus operator at KIADB area in Singahalli of Bengaluru city.
According to Sahana, daughter of victim Nagesh, a resident of Harohalli in Ramnagar district, said on Saturday at around 8.30 am, she stated to have received a phone call from her brother-in-law Lokesh who informed her about the alleged murder of her father and Manju Gowda. Both Nagesh and Manju Gowda stayed together at a shed in the washing and cleaning unit premises.
At the tragedy spot, she said she saw her father with injuries on his face and head while blood had oozed from Manju Gowda’s mouth and nose. Nagesh worked at the washing and cleaning unit of a bus operator for about two years and stayed at a shed in the unit premises.
She, in her complaint to the police, stated that she enquired with Sunil Kumar, supervisor of the bus operator and she was told that Suresh was also employed along with Nagesh and Manju Gowda at the washing and cleaning unit.
The supervisor, she said, brought to her notice that when he opened the door of the room on Saturday he came across bodies of Nagesh and Manju Gowda lying on the floor. But there was no sign of Suresh at the unit.
She suspected Suresh to be behind the murders and a case has been registered at Bagalur police station. Investigation is on.
