Gadag: In a tragic road accident on Sunday morning, four members of a family lost their lives in Naragund Taluk, Gadag district. The fatal incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on the outskirts of Konnur village when their car collided head-on with a state road transport bus.
The victims have been identified as Rudrappa Angadi, his wife Rajeshwari, their daughter Aishwarya, and son Vijay. The family was residents of Maruthi Nagar in Haveri.
Local authorities are investigating the cause of the accident. Haveri MP Basavaraj Bommai expressed his condolences on X, urging the state government to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure that those responsible are held accountable. He also called for appropriate compensation to be provided to the grieving family.
