In related developments, Durga Vahini has called for strict action against those involved and highlighted the issue of drug trafficking.
Durgavahini District Coordinator Shwetha described the incident as potentially part of a pre-planned conspiracy targeting Hindu women, with concerns about a systematic team orchestrating such crimes.
"This case underscores the widespread issue of drug network in the coastal region," Shwetha said in a press statement.
"The police must handle this case with the utmost seriousness, conduct a thorough investigation, and ensure that the accused get the maximum punishment. It is crucial to establish a dedicated team to address the rampant drug networks in the region." She also urged parents to closely monitor their children to prevent such incidents.
