BENGALURU: Comedian Bank Janardhan (75) passed away at a private hospital in Bengaluru on Monday early hours at around 2.30 am. He was undergoing treatment for age related issues at a private hospital for 20-days and had returned home. He was again shifted to hospital a week back. He developed health complications yesterday and breathed his last at around 2.30 am.
Bank Janardhan acted in more than 500 films. He was popular for his comedy roles and comic timing. Bank Janardhan acted in tv serials and came from a theatre background.
He was a resident of Sultanpalya in Bengaluru and his mortal remains were kept for public viewing. State president of Bharatiya Janata Party B.Y. Vijayendra condoled the death of Bank Janaradhan.
