SLSWCC Nod to 64 Projects in Karnataka
Vijayapura: The 146th State-Level Single Window Clearance Committee (SLSWCC), chaired by Minister for Large, Medium Industries, and Infrastructure Development MB Patil, has okayed 64 projects with a total investment of Rs 3587.67 crore. These projects are expected to generate employment for approximately 13,896 people across Karnataka.
Among the prominent approvals are investments from International Battery Company India Private Limited and River Mobility Private Limited, committing Rs 390 crore and Rs 306.9 crore respectively.
Minister Patil highlighted the strategic distribution of these investments, particularly benefiting North Karnataka.
He noted that 13 major large and medium projects with capital investments exceeding Rs 50 crore have been approved, totaling Rs 2046.39 crore, and are expected to create around 7,199 jobs.
Additionally, 47 new projects, each with investments ranging from Rs 15 crore to INR Rs crore, have been sanctioned, totaling to Rs 1058.55 crore and projected to generate approximately 6,547 jobs.
Four other capital investment schemes worth Rs 482.73 crore were also approved, creating employment for about 150 people.
Senior officials, including Dr. Shalini Rajneesh and Additional Chief Secretary and Development Commissioner Selvakumar S, attended the meeting.
