Kurnool: Panic erupted in a Mahanandi neighborhood on Saturday night after a leopard ventured into a residential area and killed a pig cub.
The incident, which unfolded near the local substation building, sent shockwaves through the community.
Sources reported that the leopard attacked and killed the cub late in the evening before retreating back into the nearby forest after the commotion. Forest officials, alerted to the event, rushed to the scene and urged residents, especially farmers working near forest edges, to exercise extreme caution.
