Hyderabad: Employees of the Telangana NGOs (TNGOs) central union, which has 3.5 lakh employees across the state as members, elected Dr S.M. Hussaini (Mujeeb) as general secretary.
The position was vacant for eight months. Earlier, Mujeeb was president of Hyderabad district TNGOs for six terms. He was considered a potential candidate representing the NGOs unions during Telangana agitation.
Mujeeb expressed his commitment to resolve all the issues of employees. The central union will hold a meeting with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to submit the grievances of employees.
He thanked the central executive members, 33 district presidents and secretaries for his election.
