Rs 4.7 Crore Sanctioned for Turning Sarvaipet into a Tourist Hub
Karimnagar: The state government sanctioned Rs 4.7 crore in the first phase for the development of Sardar Sarvai Papanna’s native place Sarvaipet village in Saidapur mandal of Husnabad constituency in Karimnagar district on Sunday.
For the development of Sarvaipet village along with transforming places where Sardar Sarvai Papanna lived into a tourist spot, the state government released Rs 4.7 crore in the first phase.
In a statement released, backward class welfare minister Ponnam Prabhakar thanked Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, deputy chief minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, tourism minister Jupalli Krishna Rao for extending cooperation for transforming Savaipet village into a tourist spot.
He stated that with the development of Sarvaipet village and transforming it into a tourist spot, the life history of Sardar Sarvai Papanna Goud will be known in not only India but abroad.
The biography of Papanna Goud will inspire youths of present generation and will help in development of the surrounding areas by transforming Sarvaipet village into a tourist spot, he added.
