Sangareddy: Boy Attacked by Dogs Stable

Hyderabad: A 12-year-old boy, who suffered injuries after being attacked by a pack of stray dogs in Sangareddy, is recovering and his condition was stated to be stable.

The survivor, Harshvardhan, was playing in front of his residence at Srinagar Colony of the 12th ward in Sangareddy town, when a pack of strays attacked him. The neighbours noticed the attack, drove away the dogs and rescued the boy. According to officials, the boy suffered injuries and was taken to the government hospital. He was later discharged.

Even though the incident took place on June 28, the CCTV footage went viral of stray dogs' attack on the boy on Wednesday on social media sites.

Sangareddy municipality have started sterilising stray dogs and special teams have been formed to capture strays, an official said.
