Thiruvananthapuram: Sarada Muraleedharan is set to be the next Chief Secretary of Kerala.
Currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary Local Self Government, Sarada will assume her new role following the retirement of the present Chief Secretary, Dr. Venu V, on August 31.
The decision to appoint Sarada Muraleedharan as the next chief secretary was taken at the Cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan here on Wednesday.
Notably, Dr. Venu V, who is also her husband, was appointed to the chief secretary position in June 2023.
