Special Measures to Combat Drug Abuse: Home Minister Anitha
Visakhapatnam: Home minister Vangalapudi Anitha underscored the significance of divine guidance in upholding law and order and safeguarding women in Andhra Pradesh.
During her visit to Sri Antarvedi Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple, she sought blessings for the strength and wisdom necessary for effective governance.
She paid homage to the deity, expressing a wish for courage and good governance to be granted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, and deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan.
Responding to the surge in ganja trafficking, drug abuse, and disappearance of girls under the previous YSRC regime, she assured the public that her administration would collaborate closely with police to implement special measures to combat these crimes.
After her temple visit, the home minister continued to Payakaraopeta, where she was warmly welcomed by TD supporters and local residents.
