Sri Chaitanya School's Success at NASA's NSS ISDC Conference 2024

Hyderabad: Academic director of Sri Chaitanya Schools Seema said on Friday that the school’s students had won the United States’ National Space Society’s space settlement contests for the 11th consecutive time. The school put up 62 winning projects in which 639 of its students participated.

Of these, seven projects bagged the world first prize, 11 won the second prize, 15 won the world third prize and 29 projects got honourable mentions, according to a statement from the school

The students also got to meet the US’ National Aeronautics and Space Administration astronauts Jose M. Hernandez and Bryan Versteeg, conceptual designer, spacehabs.com and shared their views.

Thirtyfive students belonging to Sri Chaitanya School in the Telugu states participated in this tour. A student from Sri Chaitanya was awarded $500 in the artistic merit category and another in the literary merit category. The school group has been participating in the conference for a record 13 consecutive years.
