Hyderabad: BJP official spokesperson and media in-charge N.V. Subhash said that AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi should be suspended for his remark ‘Jai Palestine’ in Parliament while taking oath as an MP. He said the MP could have extended support to Muslims of another country in another forum if he wanted to.
In a release, he stated, “Owaisi is least bothered about the welfare of his own community in the country. He utilised the Parliament, a temple of Indian democracy, to get cheap publicity. Oath-taking ceremony is a sacred event.”
He added that Rahul Gandhi tried to impress the foreign media by speaking in English. His address in Hindi would have at least made his voters in Raebareli happy," he said.
