CM Stalin wants nation to stop common polls
Chennai: The ‘draconian’ One Nation, One Election Bill that the Union Government proposed to introduce in Parliament was an impractical and anti-democratic move, Chief Minister M K Stalin said, calling upon the nation to rise and resist the ‘attack on Democracy with all our strength.’
Stalin, who was in Vaikom to take part in the centenary of the historic Vaikom struggle on Thursday, put on a message on his X page with a hashtag #SayNoToONOE, saying that move will erase regional voices, erode federalism, and disrupt governance.
