Chennai: In what can be considered as a reply to the speculation surrounding the 11-minute video showing Union Home Minister Amit Shah's conversation with Tamil Naidu BJP leader and former Telangana Government Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, she tweeted: "Yesterday as I met our Honorable Home Minister Amit Shah in AP for the first time after the 2024 Elections he called me to ask about post-poll follow up and the challenges faced. As I was elaborating, due to paucity of time with utmost concern he advised me to carry out the political and constituency work intensively which was reassuring. This is to clarify all unwarranted speculations around...."

Shah and Dr Soundararajan attended the swearing-in ceremony of TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

A 11-minute video showing Amit Shah supposedly "schooling" Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan became viral with netizens questioning if she was warned for indulging in "infighting" in party politics.

In the viral video, Amit Shah could be seen calling Soundararajan and instructing her something while waging his finger.

Reportedly, the clip put the spotlight on infighting in the Tamil Nadu unit of the BJP and created an uproar among the political parties in the south.
