Tamil Nadu Govt Announces Rs 5 Lakh Ex-Gratia for Kuwait Victims
Chennai: Expressing shock and grief over the passing away of six workers from Tamil Nadu in the tragic fire accident in Kuwait, Chief Minister M K Stalin announced a relief of Rs 5 lakh to each of the families and said that their bodies would be handed over to relatives for final rites.
In a statement on Thursday, Stalin said arrangements would also be made to ensure medical treatment for those who were injured in the inferno that ravaged an apartment building in Kuwait’s southern district of Al-Mangaf on Wednesday.
