Two Killed as Auto Crushed Between BMTC Buses in Bengaluru
Two persons, one of them a passenger, were killed on the spot after the vehicle in which they were travelling was crushed after a collision in between two buses to Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation near Sita Circle of Hanumantha Nagar in Bengaluru city. The incident occurred under Banashankari traffic police station limits.

Bengaluru:Two persons, one of them a passenger, were killed on the spot after the vehicle in which they were travelling was crushed after a collision in between two buses to Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation near Sita Circle of Hanumantha Nagar in Bengaluru city. The incident occurred under Banashankari traffic police station limits.
Police identified the deceased as Vijay Kumar (50) , an auto driver and Vishnu Bhatia (70), a passenger. It is said the auto rickshaw was behind a BMTC bus near Sita Circle when another BMTC bus coming from behind collided with it causing the mishap.
The driver of the BMTC bus in the front is said to have applied brakes of his vehicle to avoid collision with another vehicle and the sudden application of brakes resulted in collision. The BMTC bus from behind collided with the auto rickshaw and the vehicle was crushed leading to deaths of the driver and the passenger.
Banashankari traffic police rushed to the spot and registered a case.
