Hyderabad: BJP Kisan Morcha state president K. Sridhar Reddy claimed that 60 per cent of farmers in the state have been denied loan waiver benefits. Addressing farmers in Rangareddy rural district, Reddy challenged those who assert that all farmers have received the benefits to attend the Rythu Rachabanda meeting.
Sridhar Reddy highlighted that a helpline, initiated by Union minister Kishan Reddy, is receiving numerous calls from farmers seeking assistance. "We will stand by the farmers and are working to provide them with the necessary support," he said.
Former MP Boora Narsaiah Goud, who also spoke at the meeting, criticised the state government, stating that farmers who supported Congress based on promises made by Revanth Reddy are now in worse conditions. Goud pledged to continue supporting farmers until all receive the promised Rs 2 lakh loan waiver benefit.
