Hyderabad: The Telangana government will ensure incentives and create basic infrastructure to promote the setting up electric vehicle (EV) and lithium battery industries, IT and industries minister D. Sridhar Babu said. The government will take all measures to make the state a hub for the EV industry, he said.
Speaking to representatives of ETO electric two-wheeler company, led by ‘Goldstone’ Prasad, he asked them to increase the capacity of their Jadcherla facility to 10,000 units. In view of the growing demand for EVs, the government would give more incentives for the sector so that it can attract foreign direct investment
Sridhar Babu appreciated the training programme of the company for women drivers.
