Hyderabad: A 14-year-old boy studying class VII at Telangana residential Gurukul school, died by suicide in the hostel at Madanapuram of Wanaparthy, Mahbubnagar district.
T. Praveen, a resident of Konnur in Madanapur mandal, was the son of T. Srinivas and Satyamma. He was studying in the Hyderabad residential school. A few months back, his father Srinivas shifted him to Madanapur residential school, where he was staying in a hostel.
According to police, Praveen, who suffered injuries while playing kabaddi , called his parents and asked them to take him home and Srinivas agreed.
On Wednesday, Praveen had breakfast along with his friends. While his friends went to attend class, Praveen went to his hostel room and took the extreme steps. On their return in the afternoon, the students found his body and informed the teachers.
Police registered a suspicious death case and shifted the body to the mortuary for postmortem.
