16-year-old boy dies of electrocution while charging phone in Warangal

Warangal: A 16-year-old boy, identified as S. Rajesh, tragically died due to electrocution while charging his mobile phone in Jhalli village, Chennaraopet mandal, Warangal district on Saturday.

Rajesh, a Class 7 student at a private school, was charging his mobile phone at home when he came into contact with a live wire. According to Chennaraopet ST G Rajesh Reddy, the boy immediately fell unconscious in his room. His family members quickly rushed him to a nearby hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The incident has raised concerns about safety hazards related to electrical wiring in homes. Local authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the exact cause and ensure such accidents are prevented in the future. Rajesh's family and the community are deeply saddened by the loss, and authorities have expressed their condolences.

This tragic incident serves as a reminder of the importance of electrical safety, especially when using household electrical devices.
