Hyderabad: Sleuths of the southeast zone task force along with Bandlaguda police arrested two inter-state ganja peddlers. They seized 9 kg of ganja worth Rs.2.94 lakh, near ISL college, Sadathnagar, Bandlaguda on Wednesday.
The accused have been identified as Chandan Majhi, 36, a centreing worker, and Bijay Takri, 51, a labourer from Odisha. According to task force additional DCP Ande Srinivasa Rao, on December 2 the accused procured 9 kg of ganja for Rs.15,000 from Bholu at Machighati, Odisha, and had planned to sell it to customers in Hyderabad.
