Karimnagar: A stray dog bit a two-year-old boy while he was playing with another child in front of his house near the Satavahana University here on Wednesday. The incident came to light when a video surfaced on social media.
On hearing the screams of the victim, Harinandan, his mother and locals rushed to his rescue. The child suffered injuries on his head, neck and hands. He was shifted to the government main hospital.
A week back, stray dogs had attacked a 75-year-old woman who was sleeping in her house but had also eaten parts of her body. The incident created panic among residents of Seva Lal Thanda in Mustabad mandal of Rajanna Sircilla district.
