Hyderabad: The Haj Committee of India (HCI) has stated that 500 women who have applied for Haj 2025 can apply for allotment of seats under the Mehram quota. The applicants must never have performed Haj either through Haj Committee of India or private operators.
The last date is 12 noon on December 9 and after verification by December 11. The selection of mehram seats will be based on a random digital selection system.
In case the applicants exceed the numbers available, a draw of lots will be conducted. The applicants can file the applications at www.hajcommittee.gov.in. They should possess a machine readable international passport valid at least up to January 15, 2026.
Chairman of the Telangana State Haj Committee Syed Ghulam Afzal Biyabani said that the HCI had confirmed the waiting list for Sl. No. 1 to 1,631 from Telangana. These pilgrims have to submit a bank challan for about Rs 2.72 lakh each. Of this Rs 1,30,300 is the advance amount and Rs 1.42 lakh will be the second installment. The last date for advance amount is December 16. For information, applicants could visit Haj House or call 040- 23298793 on working days.
