800 Attend Medical Camp by Cops in Maoist-Affected Villages

Adilabad: The police organised a medical camp in villages of Vemanapalli mandal, Mancherial district on Wednesday. The villages are Maoist strongholds. The Neelvai police conducted the camp at the Tribal Ashram School premises in Dasnapur Crossroads, where doctors provided free treatments and medicines.

Ramagundam police commissioner M. Srinivas urged people to view police as their protectors, encouraging them to reach out in any emergency. He also pledged to develop the interior tribal areas along the state borders and requested locals to report any new or unidentified people entering their communities.

Approximately 800 people from villages including Kallampalli, Rajaram, Samoutam, Dasnapur, Gorlapalli, Kothacolony, Jilleda, Jakkepalli, Bayyaram, Racharla, Mulkalpet, Mukkidigudem, Seetharam, Chamanapalli, Baddampalli, Bammeana, Oddugudem, Nagaram, Kethanpalli, and Kalpalpeta attended the camp.

High-ranking officials present at the event included additional DCP C. Raju, Jaipur ACP Venakteshwarlu, Chennur Rural CI Sudhakar, Chennur town inspector Ravinder, Neelvai SI Shyam, Kotapalli SI Rajender, and Jaipur SI Sridhar. Commissioner Srinivas extended his gratitude to the doctors for their dedicated services to the community.
