85-yr-old Mother Complains Against Sons in Karimnagar
KARIMNAGAR: An 85-year-old woman filed a case against her sons with the Lower Manair Dam (LMD) police complaining that they had abandoned her and not provided her food, on Monday.
According to sub-inspector B. Cheralu, the woman identified as Narsavva, a resident of Alugunuru village of Thimmapur mandal of Karimnagar district, came to the police station along with some locals and complained that her sons were ill-treating her.
Narsavva had three surviving sons, and two daughters; another son is deceased. She distributed her property equally to all her children and kept around 10 guntas of land in her name. All her children except the elder daughter were living in the same village.
For the past few days, Narsavva's sons stopped looking after her due to some family dispute and not even feeding her. So, with the help of locals, she came to the police station and lodged a complaint against the sons.
After receiving the complaint, the police accompanied Narsavva to her village and settled the issue by counselling her sons. Then, Narsavva took her complaint back.
