Adequate Seed, Fertiliser Stocks Available For Kharif, Says Collector
He added that seed companies are prepared to supply additional stocks based on demand

ADILABAD: District collector Rajarshi Shah on Sunday said adequate stocks of seeds and fertilisers are available for the upcoming kharif season in Adilabad district, assuring farmers that there is no need to panic.
Addressing the media, the collector said 1,24,700 cotton seed packets and 900 quintals of soybean seeds were available in the district as of May 2. He added that seed companies are prepared to supply additional stocks based on demand.
He said cotton and soybean seeds would be fully available at fertiliser and seed outlets across the district within the next week.
Providing details of fertiliser availability, Shah said 6,565 metric tonnes of urea, 381 metric tonnes of DAP and 13,759 metric tonnes of complex fertilisers are currently stocked in private shops and market yards.
