Adivasis Write to Prez, PM for Basic Amenities
Community staged a silent rally to the Adilabad head post office

Adilabad: Adivasi residents of Komaram Bheem Colony in Mavala gram panchayat submitted hundreds of letters on Wednesday urging Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu, Governor Jishnu Dev Verma, Telangana High Court Chief Justice, and Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to address their lack of basic amenities including power, water, health, and education. Under the banner of Thudum Debba, the community staged a silent rally at the Adilabad head post office, where they dropped the letters into the mailbox. Thudum Debba leader Godam Ganesh highlighted that the colony’s elderly, women, and children are suffering due to these deficiencies, a situation that could worsen in the coming summer.
