Agricultural Officer in Bhadradri Kothagudem Caught Accepting Rs 30,000 Bribe
The ACB team carried out the operation following a complaint from the victim and arrested the officer involved.

The accused was found accepting the amount from a complainant in exchange for issuing coupons that would allow the complainant to sell cotton cultivated on his land.
Bhadradri Kothagudem: In a crackdown on corruption, D. Shanthan Kumar, an Agricultural Officer in Ashwapuram Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem district, was apprehended by Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of ₹30,000.
The accused was accepting the amount from a complainant in exchange for issuing coupons that would allow the complainant to sell cotton cultivated on his land. The ACB team carried out the operation following a complaint from the victim and swiftly arrested the officer involved.
