Former MLA S.A. Sampath Kumar has been appointed as AICC secretary for Chhattisgarh
Hyderabad: AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday appointed party functionaries as AICC secretaries and joint secretaries in different states, assigning them to work with the respective general secretaries and incharges with immediate effect. Former MLA S.A. Sampath Kumar has been appointed as AICC secretary for Chhattisgarh and P.C. Vishnunadh and P. Viswanathan as AICC secretaries for Telangana.
Sampath Kumar won from the Alampur constituency in 2014 Assembly elections. He was earlier appointed AICC secretary for Maharashtra. Sampath Kumar also held several positions in the National Students Union of India (NSUI), the parties students' wing.
