Khammam: Revenue and housing minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy on Monday said that Indiramma houses would be constructed with `22,500 crore to provide pucca shelter for the poor. He said that the Congress government was committed to fulfilling its all poll promises.
Srinivas Reddy was speaking during a visit to Kothakothur, Mangapuram thanda, Rayagudem, Appala Narsimhapuram, Kongara, Kattu Kachara and Budharam in Nelakondapally mandal Prajala Vaddaku Srinanna.
He said that the earlier BRS government had not allocated double bedroom houses to a single family in the Assembly constituency.
The minister alleged that the leaders of Opposition parties were trying to misguide the people by levelling false allegations against the state government. He assured that no village in Paleru Assembly constituency would be left without a cement concrete road in the next year.
Srinivas Reddy alleged that BRS leaders have been making irrelevant comments against the state government though the people had rejected them in the Assembly polls last year.
